Itinerary
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1:- Arrival and night in Delhi
On your arrival at the Delhi International Airport, you will be received by a driver and he will help you to check into your pre-booked hotel where you will stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast, you can enjoy a city tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi, you can see the immense sandstone Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Q tub Minar. In New Delhi, you can see the Parliament House, India Gate and Bahai Temple. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 3: Mandawa
Following breakfast, you depart for Mandawa. Arrive at Mandawa and check in to your hotel. Later, you will enjoy a tour to Mandawa's homes or painted havelis. These houses are the homes of wealthy merchants who have migrated from the region, and they have stunning fresco paintings on their walls. You may also watch how the locals live their traditional lifestyle. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Fatehpur / Deshnoke / Bikaner
After breakfast, you depart for Bikaner. On the route, you'll stop in Fatehpur, which is known for its big havelis with frescoes, which are important architectural structures in Shekhawati. Bawdies, or colossal wells and springs, are also popular tourist attractions. Upon arriving in Bikaner, check into your accommodation and unwind. Later, you'll take a tour of Bikaner, widely known as the Camel City. On Bikaner's streets, you can witness camel carts, women dressed traditionally, and men wearing colorful turbans. In the afternoon, you will see the Junagarh Fort, a majestic building constructed in the 16th century with numerous defensive bastions. You can also visit the Jain temples in Bandeshwar and the Deshnok Temple, where rats are regarded as holy and adored. Night stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Kheechan / Ramdevra / Jaisalmer
After breakfast, you go to Jaisalmer. On the route, you'll stop in Kheechan, a town known for the winter breeding sites of hundreds of cranes and other migratory birds. The local villagers feed the birds that visit Kheechan, guaranteeing that they return each year. During the winter, Kheechan is home to thousands of birds. You will also stop in Ramdevra village along the way. Arrive in Jaisalmer, settle into your accommodation, and relax. In the evening, explore the city before returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 6: Khuri Desert / Jaisalmer
After breakfast leave for a daylong tour of Jaisalmer and see the beautiful Sonar Fort, with its golden walls rising from the edge of the desert. In the Jaisalmer Fort, you will see beautiful mansions or havelis with balconies and windows covered by fine carved screens. There are many beautiful havelis along the narrow lanes in Jaisalmer town, which has a medieval ambience. The Gadisar Lake and the museum nearby are also places to visit on tours to Jaisalmer. Later take a trip to the sand dunes at Khuri, 50 Km from Jaisalmer to see the stark beauty of the Rajasthan desert. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 7: Osian / Jodhpur
After breakfast, you depart for Jodhpur. On the route, you will stop by Osian, a desert oasis with many stunning Hindu and Jain temples. Arrive in Jodhpur, settle into your accommodation, and rest up. In the evening, walk around the city before returning to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 8: Jodhpur
After breakfast, you'll go sightseeing in Jodhpur. You may visit the Jaswant Thada and explore the majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace, which houses a heritage museum. See the beautiful Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest forts. The fort contains stunning buildings as well as a collection of royal armaments and relics. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Ranakpur
After breakfast, you travel to Ranakpur. Ranakpur temples are among the greatest sets of Jain temples in India. Ranakpur's most prominent temples are the Chaumukha, Neminath and Parasnath temples. Return to your hotel, where you will stay overnight.
Day 10: Kumbhalgarh / Udaipur
After breakfast, you head for Udaipur. You'll stop by the Kumbhalgarh Fort along the way. Arrive in Udaipur and check into your hotel, where you will remain overnight.
Day 11: Udaipur
After breakfast, you embark on a day-long tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, a majestic palace with stunning architecture, the Jagdish Temple, devoted to Lord Vishnu, and the folk art museum, which houses a vibrant collection of puppets, musical instruments, and paintings. In the evening, return to your hotel for the night.
Day 12: Chittorgarh / Bundi
After breakfast, you will travel to Bundi. On the route, you will visit Chittorgarh. When you reach Bundi, you will check into your hotel. Bundi, located on a narrow ravine in the hills and surrounded by walled fortifications with four portals, is one of Rajasthan's most scenic settlements. Bundi is well-known for its beautiful wall paintings and murals created in the peculiar Bundi style. The town has also been dubbed a "city of wells" because of its ornate step-wells, which date back to the 17th century. Maharao Rattan Singhji erected the royal court. The Diwan-e-Am was designed to accommodate nine horses and elephants. The royal marble throne is a notable attraction in the area; return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 13: Pushkar
After breakfast, you leave for Pushkar. Arrive in Pushkar, check into your accommodation, and refresh yourself. Later, you'll visit Pushkar Lake and view the temples there, including the Brahma Temple, India's sole Brahma Temple. Hindus regard Pushkar Lake as a sacred site, and pilgrims visit on auspicious days to bathe there. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 14: Jaipur
After breakfast, you travel to Jaipur. Arrive in Jaipur, check into your hotel, and relax. In the afternoon, you will visit the Galta and Birla temples before returning to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 15: Jaipur
After breakfast, you travel to Amer Fort, which is 11 kilometers from Jaipur and offers an elephant ride. The fort contains numerous palaces and royal buildings. Following that, you depart for a day-long city tour in Jaipur. The stunning facade of the Hawa Mahal Palace, the City Palace, which also houses a museum, and the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory may all be found in Jaipur's well-planned Pink City, which was created by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. In the evening, you can stroll through Jaipur's colourful streets and markets, which sell a variety of handicrafts, textiles, pottery, and artefacts. In the evening, you return to your hotel to stay the night.
Day 16: Ranthambore National Park
After breakfast, you travel to Ranthambore. Arrive in the afternoon, settle into your hotel, and relax. Later, you can explore your surroundings, including the nearby village of Sawai Madhopur, which is noted for its handicrafts and art. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 17: Ranthambore National Park
You leave early in the morning for Ranthambore National Park, where you can go on an exciting jeep safari. Ranthambore National Park is a great site to watch tigers in India. The Ranthambore tigers can be observed in the scrub jungle, around the lakes, and relaxing in the shadow of the monuments in the national park. On your safari excursion through Ranthambore National Park, you will encounter deer, leopards, monkeys, squirrels, mongooses, wild boar, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species in addition to tigers. Around 10.30 a.m., you'll return to your hotel for breakfast and a shower. After lunch at 14.30 hrs, you will depart for Ranthambore National Park for an afternoon safari. Around 19.00 hours, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 18: Fatehpur Sikri / Agra
After breakfast, travel to Agra. On the journey, you'll see Fatehpur Sikri, a city built by Emperor Akbar but later abandoned. Fatehpur Sikri has numerous big monuments, including a large mosque - the Jama Masjid, a gorgeous palace - the Panch Mahal and a grand gateway - the Buland Darwaza. Later, complete your journey to Agra. Arrive at Agra and check into your hotel, where you will spend the night.
Day 19: Visit Taj Mahal / Agra Fort / Agra
Get up early and visit the Taj Mahal at 6:00 a.m. Witness the stunning image of the Taj Mahal alongside the sunrise. Early dawn light is ideal for photographing this stunning white marble monument. The Taj Mahal, India's outstanding example of Islamic architecture, was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal and represents everlasting love. Then, after breakfast, you'll go for an Agra Tour, which will include a visit to the renowned Agra Fort. The Mughal Emperor Akbar erected this splendid fort, which was later expanded by the Emperors Jahangir and Shah Jahan. The fort contains stately mansions, halls for private and public audiences, and formal gardens. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 20: Gwalior / Orchha
After breakfast, you leave for Orchha, Madhya Pradesh. Orchha, located 199 kilometers from Gwalior, is home to several stunning palaces and temples. Arrive at Orchha and check in to your hotel. Later, enjoy a tour of Orchha, visiting the palaces Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, and Rai Parveen Mahal, as well as the temples Chaturbhuj Temple, Ram Rajya Temple, and Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 21: Khajuraho
After breakfast, you will go to Khajuraho, which is famous for the Chandella temples. Arrive at Khajuraho and settle into your hotel. Later, visit the Eastern and Western groups of temples noted for their sexual carvings. The Kandariya Mahadev Temple is the most famous of the Khajuraho temples. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 22: Khajuraho - Satna - Varanasi
Khajuraho to Satna by car; Satna to Varanasi by train. After breakfast, you visit more temples in Khajuraho before leaving for the Satna train station to join the train to Varanasi. Arrive in Varanasi, check into your accommodation, and relax. Varanasi is a city with a history dating back more than 2500 years. It is also known as Kashi and is thought to have been built by King Kashya circa 1200 BC. In the evening, you can explore the city before returning to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 23: Varanasi
You go early in the morning for a boat ride on the Ganges, which Hindus consider sacred. As you float past the bathing ghats, or stairs leading down to the river, you'll notice pilgrims taking a traditional dip, chanting prayers, and donating flowers to the holy river. Smell the incense and sense Varanasi's mystical aura as the sun rises over the temple city. Return to the hotel for rest and refreshments. In the afternoon, take a tour of Varanasi, including the Sarnath Temple, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon, the Chaukhandi Stupa, the Dhamek Stupa, and the 20-meter-high Ashoka Pillar, built by Emperor Ashoka in 258 B.C. In the evening, go for a boat ride before returning to your hotel and staying overnight.
Day 24: Varanasi to Delhi by flight
After breakfast, you head to the airport to join your flight to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi. In the evening, you can explore the city before returning to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 25: Departure according to your flight schedule
Today after breakfast head towards Delhi International Airport for your onward journey.
